365: St. Nicholas Day

December 6 is St. Nicholas Day. St. Nick's Day is a day that honors the saint who sold all of his worldly possessions and gave his money to the poor. Often, people will leave shoes or stockings out and receive small gifts. I didn't grow up celebrating St. Nick's day, but Jay's family did, so we started the tradition last year with Jude.
For some reason, in very not me fashion, I didn't take any photos of Jude with his St. Nick's gifts. I only took a photo when they were set out, so all of the photos of him are from various activities we did today.
The reason I chose to blog about St. Nick's Day is because it's one of the many traditions that we have started with Jude. Before Jude was born, we discussed Jay's family traditions, my family traditions, and traditions would would like to start. We picked and chose from each category and made our own family tradition list. I look forward to sharing traditions with you all as the season progresses!
