365: Roots Day

December 23 is Roots Day. While roots often mean looking back to your ancestors (which we did yesterday), they can also speak of what bonds and keeps your family growing together.

We spent most of the day preparing for Christmas, but we did take the time to do what makes our family strong, spending time with one another. HahHah came over, and her and Jude snuggled and hung out. I love how Jay's roots are Westside Cincinnati Catholic which means everyone is physically and emotionally close to one another in our family.

I hope Jude grows to see that we are a family firmly rooted in love.
