365: Take a Hike Day

November 17 is Take a Hike Day. We often don't need a reason to get outside and walk around, but today was a little gloomy. This made it the perfect day for the holiday because it motivated us to go outside and hike!

Jay hasn't really ever gotten to go on a hike with us, and since November 17 landed on a weekend, we got to take him along and show him our favorite hiking spot -- Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve. We walked around, saw some squirrels, and Jude made a friend out of a large stick. A good time was had by all!
