365: International Book Giving Day

February 14 is International Book Giving Day. This holiday seemed like it was placed here by divine intervention. Jude's second cousin, D, was born on the 6th at 28 weeks. We are already so in love with him, and since he has to spend a bit in the NICU, we started making a box of books for him for his stay.

Since International Book Giving Day landed so perfectly, we used the day to give the books to our newest little family member. D is so little and it's flu season, so he's not taking visitors. We gave the books to D's mom and dad.

The books were favorites of ours and well as some favorites from some of our family members. Below are a list of the books we included in our box!
  1. On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman
  2. The Wonderful Things You Will Be by Emily Windfield Martin
  3. Jesse Bear What Will You Wear by Nancy Carlstrom
  4. Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson
  5. Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle
  6. A Kissing Hand for Chester Racoon by Audrey Penn
  7. Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney
  8. Small but Mighty by Alyssa Veech
  9. Night Night Cincinnati by Katherine Sulley
  10. Wish by Emma Dodd
  11. I Love You, Stinky Face by Lisa Mccort
  12. I Love You Through and Through by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak
  13. The Very Tiny Baby by Sylvie Wickstrom
We love you, Craig and Chrissy! Congratulations!
