Starting in the first week of January, we will be putting out our Learning for Littles segment twice a week. Learning for Littles will be easy to follow lesson plans focusing on a specific topic. For each lesson, there will be ways to play using sensory activities, talking points, and other fun things for you to do with your little one. There will also be suggestions for books, music, and out of the house experiences to help tie the lesson together.Daily, there will be a short blog outlining how Jude and I play for our New Year's Resolution. For this resolution, we will be celebrating 365 days of odd holidays. This will be less structured than the Learning for Littles area, and it will just show the fun things we did to celebrate days like Polar Bear Plunge Day and Appreciate a Dragon Day. Occasionally, our odd holiday will also be a Learning for Littles activity.
Finally, we will put content out weekly in our Messy Monday section. This will be a weekly activity that we do that is fully focused on sensory learning. It may sometimes have a wider purpose and connection to a Learning for Littles activity, but it may just focus on learning different textures, smells, and tastes.In the next few weeks, we will also be opening a digital Etsy shop that allows you to affordably purchase, download, and print manipulatives that we use for activities. There will be more information on this soon.
